VISCOUNT ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, I beg to move two Amendments in the Schedule in order to insert the names of the new bishoprics created by the Act of last session. I am advised that it is necessary to do this in order to place them on the same footing with the other bishoprics with respect to subsections (3) and (4) of Clause 1, which relate to the institution of deans and chapters, the application of contributions for the purposes of the endowment, and the arrangements for the succession of Bishops of any new see to your Lordships' House.
