§ The LORD CHANCELLOR informed the House that he had received from the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs a notification that, on the 5th ultimo, both Houses of the Imperial Japanese Diet adopted unanimously a resolution expressing their sincere appreciation of the kind sympathy manifested in the Address voted by the House of Lords on the occasion of the death of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.
