HL Deb 31 July 1913 vol 14 c1548
THE EARL OF CRAVEN

I beg to move the Motion standing in my name.

Moved, That the Order made on the 22nd of April last, "That no Provisional Order Confirmation Bill brought from the House of Commons shall be read a second time after Thursday the 19th day of June next" be dispensed with.—(The Earl of Craven.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

THE EARL OF CRAVEN

My Lords, I now move that this Bill be read a second time. The purpose of the Bill, which is an uncontroversial measure, is to enable the Postmaster-General to construct an underground electric railway from the east to the west of London for the purposes of his Department for carrying mails and parcels.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(The Earl of Craven.)

On Question, Bill read 2a.
