HL Deb 05 February 1913 vol 13 cc865-6
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

I should like to ask the Government a Quest-ion about the Bill which stands first on the Paper for to-morrow, the Children (Employment Abroad) Bill. Do the Government intend to pass that Bill in the present session? I have no desire to dissuade them from doing so, because in my opinion the Bill is a very important one and one that I should be very glad to see pass into law. I merely ask what the Government propose to do with respect to it.

THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

In the absence of my noble friend who speaks for the Home Office I am afraid I am unable to give the noble Marquess a reply, but I will inquire.

House adjourned during pleasure.

House resumed by the Lord HERSCHELL.
