HL Deb 12 August 1913 vol 14 c1839

House in Committee (according to Order).

The Amendments proposed by the Committee made.

THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, I asked the noble Earl in charge of the Bill yesterday to defer this stage until to-day owing to certain negotiations to which I referred as going on. Those negotiations have now resulted in agreement as to the drafting of a fresh Amendment, which I now beg to move.

Amendment moved— Page 16, line 27, after "Townsend Farm" insert "the farm buildings known as Little Sopwell Farm and such of the buildings at present occupied with Sopwell Mill Farm as are used as farm buildings and not for the purpose of Sopwell Mill."—(The Chairman of Committees.)

On Question, Amendment agreed to.

Then (Standing Order No. XXXIX having been suspended) Amendments reported: Bill read 3a, with the Amendments, and passed, and returned to the Commons.
