The King's Answer to the Address of the 1st instant reported by the Lord Chamberlain (L. Sandhurst) and read as follows: I return you My most sincere thanks "for your loyal and dutiful Address expressing sympathy with Me in the great loss which I have sustained by the death of My Beloved Uncle the King of the Hellenes. I unite with you in the expression of indignation at the tidings of the "assassination. It affords Me great comfort and gratification to receive this expression of your cordial feelings towards Myself and My Family and to be reminded of the warm interest you take in all that concerns Them.
