HL Deb 08 October 1912 vol 12 c820
THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

My Lords, as there is no urgent business of any kind immediately before the House I had intended to move that we should adjourn until Monday week, but I am informed that there are one or two other matters—including a further stage, or, if possible, the remaining stages of the Bill to which your Lordships have just given a Second Reading, and upon which I am glad an agreement has been reached by all concerned—which I think make it desirable that we should not adjourn for a longer time than to Monday next. There is a further matter connected with an Address to the Crown, in which I understand my noble and learned friend on the Woolsack is interested, and which he probably desires to bring forward on Monday. Therefore with your Lordships' permission I move that the House do adjourn until Monday next.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at ten minutes before Five o'clock, to Monday next, a quarter before Eleven o'clock.
