HL Deb 11 July 1912 vol 12 c405
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (The EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, the bringing in of this Bill was delayed by the fact that probate in a will was not obtained before a certain date, and between that time and the present we have been in the normal course awaiting the report of the Judges. That Report has now been received, and I think your Lordships will be acting in accordance with precedent in suspending the Sessional Order in this case. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Order made on the 24th day of April last, "That this House will not receive any report from the Judges upon petitions presented to this House for Private Bills after Thursday the 9th day of May next "be dispensed with.—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to: Judges report received accordingly.
