HL Deb 11 July 1912 vol 12 c407

House in Committee (according to Order): The Amendments proposed by the Committee made.

My Lords, there has been some delay in Committee in regard to this Bill and the next Bill standing in my name on the Paper. It is very important that they should pass through all their stages to-day. I have been in communication with the Lord Chairman, who thoroughly agrees with the course which I ask your Lordships to take—namely, to suspend Standing Order No. 39 as regards these two Bills.

Standing Order No. XXXIX considered (according to Order), and dispensed with: Amendments reported: Bill read 3a, and passed, and sent to the Commons.
