HL Deb 29 May 1911 vol 8 c968
THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNE

I understand the noble Viscount is prepared to tell the House what His Majesty's Government propose with regard to the Whitsun adjournment.

VISCOUNT MORLEY OF BLACKBURN

I think it would be convenient, as the noble Marquess proposes, if I were to say a word about the adjournment. What I would suggest to the House is that we should adjourn on Thursday. I am obliged to say Thursday because it is indispensable that the Aerial Navigation Bill should be passed. That Bill will not reach us until Wednesday, and we shall only be able to get through all its stages by Thursday. After that, I would propose, if it suits the convenience of the House, not to reassemble until Monday, June 26, the first Monday after the Coronation.

House adjourned at twenty minutes past Seven o'clock, till Tomorrow, half-past Ten o'clock.
