The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House that His Majesty had appointed (by Commission) the Earl of Donoughmore, Chairman of Committees, and the Chairman of Committees for the time being from time to time, to be Speaker of the House in the absence of the Lord Chancellor, and further, had appointed any person who shall have been Chairman of Committees, as also the Earl of Halsbury, the Earl Waldegrave, the Lord Ribblesdale, the Lord Balfour, the Earl of Onslow, the Lord Loreburn, the Earl Beauchamp, the Lord Denman, the Lord Colebrooke, and the Earl of Granard, to be Speaker of the House, in the absence of the Lord Chancellor or the Chairman of Committees: The said Commission was read.

The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificates from the Examiners that the Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with:

Also the Certificates that no further Standing Orders are applicable to the following Bills:

And also the Certificates that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with:

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.
