Thomas Gair Ashton, Esquire, having been created Baron Ashton of Hyde in the County of Chester—Was (in the usual manner) introduced.

The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificates from the Examiners that, the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with:

Also the Certificates that no Standing Order is applicable to the following Bills:

Land Drainage Provisional Order (No. 3).

Port of London (First Election of Members) Provisional Order.

And also the Certificates that the Standing Orders applicable to the following Bill have not been complied with:

Salford Hundred Court of Record.

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.
