THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)My Lords, I beg to move that Standing Order No. 143 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of this Bill, and that the Bill be read a third time. The effect of suspending the Standing Order will be to expedite slightly the progress of this Bill, which is a late Bill, and for that reason I commend the Motion to your Lordships.
§ Moved, That Standing Order No. 143 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the said Bill, and that the Bill be now read 3a.—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)
§ On Question, Bill read 3a and passed and sent to the Commons.
