His Majesty's answer to the Address of Tuesday last delivered by the Lord Steward (E. Chesterfield), and read as follows—

"I have received your Address praying that I will make the Orders in Council under the Military Manœuvres Act, 1897, the drafts of which were presented to your Lordships' House on the 7th of February last. I will comply with your advice."

The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificate from the Examiners that the Standing Orders applicable in the case of the petition for additional Provision in the following Bill have not been complied with:

Dundee Harbour and Tay Ferries. [H.L.]

The same was ordered to lie on the Table.
