HL Deb 24 November 1910 vol 6 c1012
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I beg to move the reception of a Report from the Select Committee on House of Lords Offices. The Committee only met to-day, and therefore there has not been time to lay the Report on the Table. But inasmuch as if it is not adopted by your Lordships to-night certain persons whom the Committee have decided should be in receipt of gratuities for long service would not be able to enjoy those advantages until the new Parliament met in January or in February next, I venture to ask your Lordships to receive the Report to-night.

On Question, Report considered, and agreed to. (No. 180.)
