HL Deb 23 November 1910 vol 6 c835

THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNE had given notice to move, That Standing Order No. XXI be considered in order to its being suspended, and that the consideration of the Resolutions standing in his name upon the relations of the two Houses of Parliament have precedence of all Orders of the Day and Notices. The noble Marquess said: My Lords, I put this Motion down because I thought it would be for the convenience of the House that we should take the Resolutions that stand in my name first, but I believe the other business on the Paper is not likely to take long and therefore there is no occasion for me to move it.
