HL Deb 18 November 1910 vol 6 c776
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Before the House adjourns I should like to ask the noble Earl how, in the existing circumstances, the Government propose to treat the other Bills now on the Paper of your Lordships' House—the Places of Worship Enfranchisement Bill, and several Government Bills. The question is whether it is worth while cudgelling our brains to be able to deal with these measures during next week.

THE EARL OF CREWE

I am afraid we shall not have much time. I do not carry in my mind the exact facts as to the staves which these particular Bills have reached; but if there is a measure of an uncontroversial character which would take little time to discuss the House would probably wish it to pass into law if possible before the Dissolution. Perhaps I may be able to reply to the question on Monday.

House adjourned at a quarter past Two o'clock, to Monday next, a quarter past Four o'clock.
