HL Deb 20 March 1899 vol 68 c1301
THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY

Before the House adjourns, I would ask the noble Marquess if he can tell us at what period he intends to move the adjournment of the House for the Easter holidays, and for how long?

THE PRIME MINISTER

I believe the House must sit till Monday for the purpose of receiving money Bills, to which the Royal Assent will be necessary. From Monday, three weeks, I believe, is the usual time, according to precedent.
