HL Deb 25 July 1899 vol 75 cc213-4
THE EARL OF CAMPERDOWN

I wish to ask the noble Earl the Under-Secretary for the Colonies a question of which I have given him private notice—whether he proposes to lay further Papers on the Table with regard to affairs in the Transvaal?

THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (The Earl of SELBORNE)

I believe to-day Papers will be laid on the Table containing an account of the Bloemfontein Conference, and we hope on Thursday to lay on the Table a further Blue Book.

THE EARL OF CAMPERDOWN

I beg to give notice that I shall, on Friday next, call attention to affairs in the Transvaal.
