HL Deb 17 February 1899 vol 66 c1252
THE LORD CHANCELLOR (The Earl of HALSBUBY)

My Lords, I beg to move the Second Reading of this Bill, which passed through your Lordships' House last Session. The Bill gives the Master of the Rolls power to replace on the Roll of Solicitors a solicitor who has been, either before or after the commencement of the Act, struck off the Roll under the provisions of Section 32 of the Solicitors Act, 1843. Unfortunately there was no time for the Bill to pass through the other House last Session, and I therefore beg to move its Second Reading again in this House.

Question put.

Motion agreed to.
