HL Deb 16 June 1898 vol 59 cc396-7

The Sheriffs' Tenure of Office (Scotland) Bill passed through Committee without Amendment.

THE SECRETARY FOR SCOTLAND (Lord BALPOUR of BURLEIGH)

My Lords, I hardly think it is necessary to send this Bill to the Standing Committee. It passed through the other House without Amendment, and no one has suggested an Amendment here. I move, therefore— That he Standing Committee be negatived.

Question put.

Motion agreed to.
