§ A Bill to confirm certain Provisional Orders made by the Board of Trade under the General Pier and Harbour Act, 1861, relating to Colwyn Bay, Macduff, Medina River, Portsmouth Camber Quays, and Southwold—Was presented by the Lord James (for the Earl of Dudley): Then it was moved that the Sessional Order of the 8th March, 1898, "That no Provisional Order Confirmation Bill originating in this House shall be read a first time after Tuesday, the 3rd day of May next," be dispensed with in respect of the said Bill, and that the Bill be now read the first time.
