§ Message from the Commons to acquaint this House that they have suspended any further proceedings on the General Power Distributing Company Bill in the 396 House of Commons until the next Session of Parliament, because the delay in the proceedings on the Bill was caused solely by the action of Parliament in referring the questions of principle involved in this and other Bills to a Joint Committee; and to request that their Lordships will concur in such suspension.
