*THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (The Duke of NORFOLK)

The object of this Bill is to secure for the telegraphs of the Postmaster General the same protection and safeguards in the Channel Islands as are already secured for them by Statute in Great Britain. It has been drawn up in communication with and in conjunction with the authorities in Guernsey and Jersey. I beg to move it be read a second time.
