This Act in its application to Scotland shall be subject to the following provision: The sheriff shall be substituted for a justice of the peace; the procurator fiscal shall be substituted for the coroner, and an inquiry by him into the cause of death for an inquest; and poorhouse shall be substituted for workhouse.
