THE EARL OF DENBIGH

, in moving the Second Reading of this Bill, explained that it proposed to remove the limits with regard to the number of the Constabulary Force in Belfast imposed by the Constabulary (Ireland) Amendment Act, 1865. The proposed alteration of the law was rendered necessary by the extension of the boundary of the city of Belfast which would come into effect in November.
