HL Deb 23 July 1897 vol 51 c884

THE DUKE OF DEVONSHIRE moved the Second Reading of this Bill. He said the Bill, which had passed through the other House without any discussion, enabled School Boards, under regulations made by the Education Department, to pay certain expenses relating to conferences of School Boards. He believed it would be considered to be a useful Measure.

Read 2a (according to Order), and committed to a Committee of the Whole House on Monday next.

House adjourned at Ten minutes before Seven o'clock, to Monday next, a Quarter past Eleven o'clock.
