HL Deb 09 July 1896 vol 42 c1054

*LORD HARRIS moved that the Report of Amendments to this Bill be agreed to.

THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (The EARL of MORLEY)

said he did not object to the motion, but wished to express a hope that his noble Friend would call the attention of the Local Government Board to the extremely late period at which they introduced their Bills. This year Bills were introduced even after the day fixed for receiving them in the House.

Amendments reported (according to Order), and Bill to be read 3a Tomorrow.
