HL Deb 28 June 1895 vol 35 c40

THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY moved—"That this House do now adjourn until Monday next."

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

said he did not see any advantage in meeting on Monday.

THE EARL OF MORLEY

pointed out that there were several Bills on the Paper for that day, and that it would be convenient to proceed with them.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Very well; I will not oppose our meeting on Monday, but I presume none of the Bills referred to by the noble Earl are of a contentious character.

House adjourned at Twenty minutes before Five o'clock to Monday next, a quarter past Four o'clock.
