gave notice that on an early day he would call the attention of the House to the nature and extent of the system of usury, and the practice of money-lenders in the United Kingdom, and ask Her Majesty's Government whether they would consent to the appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into the evils which thence arose.

House adjourned at Ten minutes past Five o'clock.
