The LORDS COMMISSIONERS—namely, The LORD CHANCELLOR (Lord Herschell); The LORD PRESIDENT of the COUNCIL and SECRETARY of STATE for INDIA (The Earl of Kimberley); The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (The Marquess of Ripon); The LORD STEWARD of the HOUSEHOLD (The Marquess of Breadalbane); and the CAPTAIN YEOMEN of the Guard (Lord Kensington)—being in their Robes, and seated on a Form placed between the Throne and the Woolsack, commanded the Yeoman Usher of the Black Rod (Captain Butler) to let the COMMONS know, "The Lords Commissioners desire their immediate Attendance in this House to hear the Commission read."
