HL Deb 23 February 1894 vol 21 c1015

Moved, "That this House do now adjourn."—(The Earl of Kimberley.)

*THE EARL OF LIMERICK

said, it would be for the convenience of the House if the noble Earl would say what was to be the course of business next week.

THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY

said, that if the Commons disposed of their Lordships' Amendments on Monday, as he hoped they would, and sent the Bill back to their Lordships' House on that evening, he should propose that any Amendments made by the Commons should be considered on Tuesday.

THE EARL OF LIMERICK

said, that the time for discussion of Amendments would be very short, as their Lordships would not be in possession of the Amendments of the Commons until Tuesday morning.

THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY

said, that when he made the proposal on Monday—as he hoped to be able to do—would be the time to consider it.

Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at five minutes past Twelve o'clock, A.M., to Monday next. Eleven o'clock.
