HL Deb 06 August 1894 vol 28 cc118-9

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (The Earl of KIMBERLEY) moved that the House do meet to-morrow at a quarter past 4 instead of half-past 5, as he was informed there would be no Standing Committee sitting.

Motion agreed to.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Before the Motion for the Adjournment is put, as I understand there is no business after to-morrow until Monday next, I would suggest, if the Government does not object, that we should not sit until that day.

THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY

I propose that the House, after sitting tomorrow, should adjourn until Monday next, and that the Second Reading of the Evicted Tenants Bill should be taken on that day.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Oh, yes; to that we are quite agreeable.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before Five o'clock, till To-morrow, a quarter past Four o'clock.
