HL Deb 24 November 1893 vol 18 c1677
THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY

There is, I think, no Business before us which will require the House to meet again until next Thursday. It is therefore proposed that the Standing Committee, to whom the Savings Banks Bill has already been referred, should meet on Tuesday, but that the House should adjourn until Thursday next.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

I am quite agreeable to the proposal of the noble Earl, but I wish to say that, as matters are going on, I may take some Opportunity of inviting his confidence as to the future conduct of Public Business. I have no doubt he will give it readily.

THE EARL OF KIMBERLEY

I can assure the noble Marquess that I have not the least desire to trouble the House unnecessarily.
