LOUD ACTON

This, my Lords, is a Bill for facilitating the prompt acquisition of sites for the erection of temporary hospitals in the event of an outbreak of cholera in Ireland, with due notice and provisions for compensation and as to distance. Similar Acts were passed in 1883 and 1885, and this one has passed through the other House without being opposed. It was limited to one year. I move that the Bill be now read a second time.
