HL Deb 14 March 1893 vol 10 cc10-1
THE EARL OF STRAFFORD

asked the Under Secretary of State for War where the instructors at the Aldershot School of Cookery received their instruction. He hoped the noble Lord, the Under Secretary of State for War, would be able to answer the question in as satisfactory a manner as that put upon the subject a week ago.

LORD SANDHURST

The sergeant and an assistant, that is, another noncommissioned officer, passed through a course of Cookery at the National School of Cookery with very satisfactory results, and the War Office Authorities have every reason to be gratified at the courtesy shown them by the Executive of that body.
