said, he had hoped to be able to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he had received any further information as to the late fatal disturbances in the Island of Dominica, coincidently with the asking of similar questions in another place. Yesterday, however, the noble Marquess the Secretary of State for the Colonies informed him that he had been unexpectedly summoned to Windsor, and he therefore begged to postpone the question to Friday next.
