I have received your Lordships' Address praying that I will withhold my Assent to the words 'or in Mathematics' occurring in Clause IV, (2) of the Ordinance Number XI. framed by the Commissioners under the Universities (Scotland) Act, 1889.I will withhold my Assent to those words in conformity with your Lordships' advice.
