HL Deb 21 June 1892 vol 5 c1679

SECOND READING.

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

LORD SANDHURST

My Lords, this is merely a Consolidation Bill which makes no material alteration in the law. It was brought in by Sir John Lubbock and passed through the House of Commons with no opposition, and I beg to move that your Lordships give it a Second Reading.

Moved, "That the Bill be now read 2a"—(The Lord Sandhurst.)

Motion agreed to; Bill read 2a accordingly, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House on Thursday next.
