HL Deb 27 July 1891 vol 356 c388

Order of the Day for the Second Reading, read.

*LORD DE RAMSEY

My Lords, this is a Bill for clearing up some doubt that has arisen as to the jurisdiction of a Court in that island to enforce penalties under the Metalliferous Mines Act. The intention is to put the Isle of Man on an equality with England in this matter. I beg to move the Second Reading.

Bill read 2a (according to order), and committed to a Committee of the Whole House To-morrow.
