HL Deb 06 March 1890 vol 342 c106

Moved to resolve. That Standing Committees shall not sit without special leave during any sitting of the House."—(The Lord Brabourne.)

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

I will only say that I accept this Amendment in view of a notice which I have given that on Tuesday the House should sit at a later hour, so that the sitting of the two bodies together should be avoided.

On Question, agreed to.

Ordered, That the said resolution be declared a Standing Order, and that it be entered on the Roll of Standing Orders, and be printed. (No. 34.)
