§ THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (Viscount CRANBROOK)I wish to ask my noble Friend the Chairman of Committees a question in reference to the Central London Railway Bill. Your Lordships will remember that on the introduction of the Bill there was an understanding that if it went to a Select Committee there should be some means of ascertaining what evidence had been given with regard to St. Paul Cathedral. I desire to ask my noble 1717 Friend what steps he has taken in that matter?
THE EARL OF MORLEYI have inquired, and I find that the evidence with regard to St. Paul's Cathedral would be scattered generally through the engineer's evidence, and would not solely appear in the case made for St. Paul's Cathedral. I thought, therefore, the best plan would be to have two or three copies of the evidence placed in your Lordships' Library, where any Peer who wishes to study any part of it can have access to it.
