HL Deb 02 July 1888 vol 328 cc14-5

On the Motion of the Earl of MILLTOWN, the Earl of Morley, and the Earl of Kimberley were added to the Select Committee.

LORD THURLOW

inquired whether it was proposed to add any Member of the right rev. Bench to the Committee?

THE EARL OF MILLTOWN

said, the Committee was to inquire into what really was a matter of law; and with all respect for the right rev. Bench, and quite admitting their learning, he did not think that its occupants were authorities on points of law.
