HL Deb 09 September 1887 vol 321 c3
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA (Viscount CROSS)

said, he had made inquiries as to the Business proceeding in the other House, and he found that it was not likely their Lordships would have any Bills sent up to them until rather late on Monday; and, as the only Business then would be to receive Bills from the Commons, he proposed that their Lordships should adjourn until half-past 11 o'clock on Monday night.

House adjourned at a quarter before Five o'clock, to Monday next, half past Eleven o'clock P.M.
