§ LORD BRABOURNEsaid, that as the second reading of the Irish Land Bill stood first for Thursday, the Railway Traffic Bill could not come on at a convenient hour on the same night, and he would ask his noble Friend in charge of the Bill to fix it for a time when it could be fairly discussed.
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Lord STANLEY of PRESTON)said, that it had been his intention to take the Report of Amendments stage of this Bill upon Thursday next; but as the second reading of the Irish Land Law Bill would be taken upon that evening, he would postpone the Report upon this Bill until Tuesday next.
