HL Deb 21 May 1886 vol 305 c1635

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

Moved, "That the Bill be now read 2a."—(The Duke of Buckingham.)

LORD SUDELEY

said, that the Treasury had very strong objections to Clauses 3 and 4; but as the solicitors had given an undertaking to withdraw these clauses they would not oppose the second reading.

Motion agreed to; Bill read 2a accordingly.
