THE LORD CHAMBERLAIN OF THE HOUSEHOLD (The Earl of KENMARE)

reported the Queen's Answer to the Address of Friday the 12th instant as follows:— I have received your Address, praying that I will be pleased to direct that the National Gallery, the British Museum, and the Natural History Museum shall be open to the public weekly on three week-day evenings till 10 p.m.: I will carefully consider your wishes in this respect.
