§ The Earl GRANVILLE acquainted the House that Her Majesty had been pleased to create the Eight Honourable Sir Farrer Herschell, Knight, Lord Chancellor of Great Britain, a Peer of this Realm, by the title of Baron Herschell of the city of Durham, and his Lordship, having retired to robe, was introduced in the usual manner.
