EARL STANHOPE

I wish to ask the noble Earl the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether he is now in a position to make any statement to the House as to the settlement of the Egyptian financial arrangements?

EARL GRANVILLE

A Declaration embracing the whole agreement between the Powers has been signed this afternoon, and to-morrow Her Majesty's Government hope to sign the Financial Convention embraced in that Declaration.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

Will these Papers be laid upon the Table of the House with the Egyptian Papers?

EARL GRANVILLE

Yes; and as soon as possible.

House adjourned at a quarter before Seven o'clock, to Thursday next, a quarter past Ten o'clock.
