Order of the Day for the House to be put into Committee read.

THE MARQUESS OF WATERFORD

, in moving that the House do resolve itself into Committee on the Bill, said, that this was an annual measure, and only came into operation in the event of a virulent attack of Asiatic cholera. Under its provisions, no hospital was to be erected within 300 yards of a dwelling-house, and when the hospital was removed the land was to be restored to its original state.

THE EARL OF MILLTOWN

said, he would suggest that the Act should be made a perpetual instead of an annual one.
